Product Details
The saddle clamp for PVC pipe is an important tool for branching water sources in irrigation systems. It is injection molded from high-strength engineering plastic, with a semi-circular saddle, bolt fasteners, and threaded outlets on the side. After installation, branch pipes can be directly routed through holes drilled in the existing PVC/PE main pipe. Common specifications cover main pipe outer diameters from 25mm to 315mm, encompassing all pipe sizes for agricultural drip irrigation, garden sprinkler irrigation, municipal greening, orchard micro-sprinklers, and greenhouse water supply.
Installation Steps
Mark the location where water needs to be drawn from the main pipe. Drill a hole using a hole saw (the hole diameter should be slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the outlet).
Clean any burrs from the hole. Align the saddle with the hole (insert the outlet into the hole), placing both sides symmetrically.
Insert the bolts and tighten the nuts evenly and alternately.
Connect the branch pipe, ball valve, or quick coupling; water can then be supplied.
